There’s a new, sweet little slice of American Pie on the scene: Thomas Ian Nicholas is a dad.
The actor’s wife Colette, 36, gave birth to their first child, Nolan River, on Thursday, Oct. 20, his rep tells PEOPLE exclusively.
Nolan weighed in at 7 lbs., 4 oz., is 20 inches long and arrived after 15 hours of labor.
“The first thing that Nolan did when he entered the world was grab one of the doctor’s tools out of his hands,” Nicholas, 31, tells PEOPLE. “We might just have a future doctor in our midst!”
Nolan’s birth is one of the many personal highlights for the gang — whose major players are all back together for the forthcoming American Reunion. In the last 12 years, Jason Biggs, Tara Reid, Mena Suvari and Alyson Hannigan have all married, and Hannigan welcomed daughter Satyana in 2009.
