On the set of American Reunion this summer, Jason Biggs and Eddie Kaye Thomas asked me if I ever covered the song “LAID” at any of my concerts. I dig the song but I never really thought of playing it until that moment. The original version by JAMES was released in 1993 and then it was covered by Matt Nathanson in 2003. I figured it was time for a new version.
